Why this notebook?

When I heard that Tomoe River paper from the No. 7 machine was coming to an end, I felt two things:
Like a child, I didn’t like that something so good was being taken away and proceeded to throw a mental tantrum.
But like an adult, I figured I could probably do something about it.

This little notebook is my little passion project. I consider it my way of preserving and celebrating a paper stock I love, and raising a glass to the famed No. 7 machine. Ultimately, something this good deserves to be shared.

Designed with everyday utility in mind, this notebook offers an ultra-minimal exterior and a carefully considered interior—perfect for writers, planners, and designers alike.
